Abstract
ABSTRACTThe influence of dental restorative materials on patients’ general and oral health is the main interest of many researchers but the question of their safety is still under consideration. An otherwise healthy 23-year-old patient with no history of oral abnormalities was examined. Dental amalgam restorations were replaced by composite resin material. Salivary smears prepared two days and two weeks after the amalgam removal were compared with those taken before the procedure.
