Abstract
Vapor–liquid equilibria and critical loci of binary systems composed of difluoromethane (CH2F2, HFC-32), pentafluoroethane (C2HF5, HFC-125) and 1,1,1,2-tetrafluoroethane (C2H2F4, HFC-134a) were measured at temperatures ranging from 303.15 to 363.15 K and pressures ranging from 0.92 to 4.83 MPa.Vapor–liquid equilibria and critical points of the ternary system CH2F2–C2HF5–C2H2F4 were also measured at 3.63, 3.83 and 4.42 MPa and temperature ranging from 333.15 to 363.15 K.The Peng–Robinson equation of state without any adjustable parameter (δij = 0) gave excellent prediction of binary and ternary vapor–liquid equilibria, and critical loci of binary and ternary systems.
