Abstract
Binary liquid–liquid equilibrium (LLE) data for the system di-isopropyl ether (DIPE) + water were measured at atmospheric pressure from 288.15 to 323.15 K and the ternary LLE for systems of DIPE + water + C1–C4 alcohols (methanol, ethanol, 1-propanol, 2-propanol, 1-butanol and 2-butanol) were also determined at 298.15 K at atmospheric pressure. The experimental binary and ternary LLE data were correlated with the NRTL and UNIQUAC models, respectively.
