Abstract
The present publication elaborates upon the possibility of using the critical solution point for the oil/aniline system instead of its aniline point in order to characterize oil solubility. From a theoretical point of view, the critical solution point should be a better indicator of the oil/aniline repellency, than the aniline point, because the former is directly proportional to the Flory interaction parameter and has a transparent thermodynamic meaning.
