Abstract
A new oil-in-water nanoemulsion containing calixarene molecules was developed to treat intact or injured skins contaminated by uranium soluble compounds. The ability of the calixarene nanoemulsion to trap uranium and prevent its percutaneous diffusion was assessed with Franz cells using pig ear skin.
