Abstract
SummaryProteomics, the global analysis of proteins, will contribute greatly to our understanding of gene function in the post-genomic era. This review summarizes recent developments in fungal proteomics and also generalizes protocols for sample preparation from plant pathogenic fungi. Challenges and future perspectives of proteomics are discussed as well.
