Abstract

Seven case studies are presented to exemplify the valuable information that liberation analysis can provide. The cases cover application of liberation analysis to industrial minerals and base metal sulphide minerals. Liberation analysis provides information that cannot be obtained by other analytical techniques. The cost of liberation analysis is negligible when it is considered that the data obtained often allows performing modification to plant operations that have a large positive impact.
