Abstract
⺠Use comet assay to examine diepoxybutane-induced DNA crosslinks and breaks in cells. ⺠Diepoxybutane induces DNA-DNA rather than DNA-protein crosslinks in L02 cells. ⺠200 μM is a threshold for the formation of crosslinks in large quantities. ⺠Diepoxybutane induces both single-strand breaks and alkali-labile sites.
