Abstract
Densities and viscosities were measured for pure ionic liquid [C6mim][Br] (1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium bromide) and the binary system (water + [C6mim][Br]) at 0.1 MPa and in the (293.15 to 333.15) K range. The excess molar volume and viscosity deviation were calculated and correlated by Redlich–Kister polynomial expansions. The fitting parameters and the standard deviations were determined.
