Abstract
⺠Phospholipid acylhydrolase is present in fruiting bodies of several basidiomycetes. ⺠In Armillaria ostoyae, phospholipase A1 activity is specific for sporogenic tissue. ⺠The A. ostoyae, phospholipase A1 is expressed in the phase of spore release. ⺠Phospholipase A1 generates fatty acids for spore storage lipid from phospholipids.
