Abstract
⺠CD-NP is a chimeric natriuretic peptide made of CNP and the C-terminal tail of DNP. ⺠CD-NP and DNP were shown to be highly resistant to proteolytic degradation. ⺠Resistance to degradation may contribute to the therapeutic properties of CD-NP. ⺠Addition of the C-terminal DNP tail may increase the half-life of natriuretic peptides.
