Abstract
Figure optionsDownload full-size imageDownload as PowerPoint slideThe synthesis and the electrochemical studies of 5,15-bis-(9H-fluoren-2-yl)-10,20-diphenyl porphyrins, H2DFDPP and ZnDFDPP, are presented. Their anodic oxidation at low or high potentials lead selectively to insoluble 1D or 2D electroactive deposits. Electrochemical restructuring of 1D polymeric wires into 2D polymeric films is also demonstrated.
