Abstract
Thin film Carbon Nanotube networks are used as a conductive, transparent and flexible backbone structure for electrochemically deposited polyaniline. Such a device is sensitive to pH allowing the determination of pH values ranging from pH 1 to 13. The excellent performance in terms of linearity, selectivity, stability and fast response and makes this device suitable for pH sensor applications. In addition, the extremely simple preparation technique allows the conversion of any user defined substrate into a pH sensor which offers a great potential for demanding sensor applications.
