Abstract
The concentration profile of a species generated electrochemically in a tubular flowing electrode is obtained via numerical simulation for the case of an EC mechanism, where the species formed at the electrode is subsequently lost through a homogeneous first order decay process. Voltammetric waves are simulated and the variation of the half-wave potential as a function of the first order rate constant and the normalised variables of the mass transport equation is explored.
