Abstract

The aim of this study was assess the new safe drugs with high efficacy that prepared with available plant and nano particles. In the present study, the microbial activity of Zn[OH]2 nanoparticles and Hp-2-minh as sole or combination of extracts of Utica dioica Chamaemelum nobile and Salvia officinalis. The antimicrobial activity determined using agar disc diffusion method. The antibacterial and antifungal activities of U. dioica, C. Nobile and S. officinalis extracts [25,50, 100 μg/mL] were tested against Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeroginosa, and fungal strains were Aspergillus oryzae, Candida albicans. It was revealed that extracts antibacterial potential significantly depend on their dosage and their influence related to the presence of various secondary metabolites.
