Abstract
Perchlorate doped poly(3,4-ehylenedioxythiophene)-co-poly(ethyleneglycol) (PEDOT-PEG, Aedotron™ C) was introduced as a hole injection layer in PLEDs. Aedotron™ C layer, conductivity and PH were 0.1–2.0 S/cm and ∼6.0, respectively, was laid between ITO and PEDOT:PSS. This layer prevented corrosion of the ITO transparent electrode by PSS and acted as an efficient electron blocking layer. Consequently, maximum brightness was increased to about 59% and the stability of the device was improved.
