Abstract
Poly(styrene-co-divinylbenzene)–clay (polymer–clay) nanocomposites were prepared by in situ polymerization initiated by γ-ray irradiation. The intercalated structure of polymer–clay nanocomposites were observed by X-ray diffraction (XRD), and energy filtered transmission electron microscope (EF-TEM). The thermal properties of the polymer–clay nanocomposites were studied the thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA).
