Abstract
The effects of the dispersion of the rod size distribution on the evolution of average energy and the nonequilibrium steady state dynamic behaviors (including the velocity distribution, spatial density distribution, and spatial correlations of density and velocities) are investigated in a one-dimensional granular gas with quasi Gaussian size distribution.
