From ion channels to complex networks: Magic bullet versus magic shotgun approaches to anticonvulsant pharmacotherapy

Although the relevance of this promiscuity remains untested, it may contribute to anticonvulsant efficacy and should therefore be considered in drug development strategies and in therapeutic decision making.
