Abstract
From the obtained results, we found that the ethanolic extract presented the high level of phenolic and flavonoid contents (231.85 ± 20.59 mg GAE/g and 132.8 ± 24.58 mg CEQ/g). The EC50 of different extracts were arranged between 47.71 and 86.73 μg/mL. A highest hydrogen peroxide activity was observed in ethyl acetate extract compared to antioxidants used as positive control (BHA and α-tocopherol).
