Abstract
The buckling of an orthotropic piezoelectric rectangular laminate with weak interfaces is investigated. The state-space formulations established directly from the three-dimensional theory of elasticity are employed. The solution is completely exact and can be used as a benchmark to clarify various plate theories or numerical methods.
