Abstract
A study of free vibration of symmetric composite plates is presented. The analysis is based on an innovative numerical scheme, where collocation by radial basis functions and pseudospectral methods are combined to produce highly accurate results. Numerical results are presented and discussed for various thickness-to-length ratios.
