Abstract
⺠Alpinetin reduced the secretion of TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-1β in LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages. ⺠Alpinetin modulated cytokine responses by blocking NF-ÒB and MAPKs activation. ⺠Alpinetin attenuated TNF-α, IL-1β and IL-6 production in BALF of mice challenged with LPS. ⺠Alpinetin decreased the number of total cells, neutrophils, and macrophages in BALF of mice treated with LPS. ⺠Alpinetin attenuated the pulmonary histological changes and lung edema of mice treated with LPS.
