The magneto-electro-elastic (MEE) material such as BaTiO3–CoFe2O4 composite performs the piezoelectric/piezomagnetic properties. The singularities in a bimaterial MEE composite wedge under the antiplane deformation are studied in this paper. The Mellin transform will be applied to derive the characteristic equations of singularity orders. Numerical results of this magneto-electro-elastic field are quite different from previous studies of elastic or piezoelectric wedges. In practices, the mechanical failure or dielectric breakdown may initiate from the wedge apex due to high singularity. For the design of MEE actuators or sensors, this paper provides the guidelines for the selections of wedge angles and materials to reduce the singularity.
