Abstract
⺠An impact of the adenosine system on early information processing was proposed. ⺠Caffeine impaired prepulse facilitation in highly anxiety sensitive individuals ⺠Caffeine impaired information processing in female ADORA2A 1976TT homozygotes ⺠A multi-level risk-model of anxiety involving the adenosine system is suggested.
