Abstract
This paper summarized the function of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) in cancer radiotherapy, including clinical and experimental study. TCM can not only improve the efficacy of radiotherapy to extend survival and improve the quality of life, but also a good way to reduce toxicity of the radiotherapy, such as radioactive inflammation, decrease in the number of leukocytes, and immune dysfunction. Finally, this paper analyzed the shortcoming of current research and suggested further development and research topics.
