Abstract
Women with Turner syndrome generally experience ovarian failure at an early age and very few are fertile. Through oocyte donation, affected women may achieve a pregnancy. These pregnancies, however, appear to be at high risk for fatal aortic dissection or rupture. This article reviews the literature on the obstetric risk of women with Turner syndrome, particularly those pregnancies achieved through oocyte donation. Women with significant risk factors should be counseled against attempting pregnancy.
