Abstract
We studied statistically the relationship between BMI and various arteriosclerotic risk factors. The relationship was found diversified according to the risk factor items studied. However, as the majority of the items showed fairly clear correlation with BMI, the control of body weight should be stressed as important for the prevention of arteriosclerotic disorders, especially in older male population.
