Abstract
The discussant stresses some psychodynamic aspects regarding the patients presented in Dr. Kächele's paper and uses the case of Loretta, a patient of his in long-term psychotherapy with chronic renal insufficiency, to demonstrate some problems that emerge in the treatment of transplantation patients.
