Abstract
The urine of a patient treated with amoxicillin for community-acquired pneumonia was studied. Using an automated digital microscope, it was possible to appreciate the characteristic wheat-sheaf-like crystals of this antibiotic, to subsequently identify them by cation-exchange liquid chromatography.
