Abstract
Combined biochemical and ultrasound screening enhance the accuracy of detection of trisomy 21 during first quarter of pregnancy in comparison with biochemical screening during first and second quarter. Our results were consistent with most publications. In conclusion, using combined screening improves effectiveness.
