Abstract
► We investigate whether bisphenol-A affects neuronal differentiation using PC12 cell. ► Bisphenol-A suppress neurite extension induced by nerve growth factor in PC12 cells. ► This suppression is due to the inhibition of phosphorylation of CREB and ERK1/2. ► However, bisphenol-A does not affect phosphorylation of JNK, p53, MEK and Trk. ► BPA suppress neurite outgrowth mediated by inhibition of phosphorylation of ERK1/2.
