Abstract
⺠We investigate whether bisphenol-A affects neuronal differentiation using PC12 cell. ⺠Bisphenol-A suppress neurite extension induced by nerve growth factor in PC12 cells. ⺠This suppression is due to the inhibition of phosphorylation of CREB and ERK1/2. ⺠However, bisphenol-A does not affect phosphorylation of JNK, p53, MEK and Trk. ⺠BPA suppress neurite outgrowth mediated by inhibition of phosphorylation of ERK1/2.
