Abstract
⺠Developmental ethanol exposure induces hyperactivity, motor and learning deficits. ⺠NMDAR-mediated excitotoxicity during withdrawal may contribute neuropathology in FASD. ⺠NMDAR antagonists administered during withdrawal mitigate alcohol-related deficits. ⺠Memantine attenuates motor incoordination induced by developmental alcohol exposure.
