Abstract
⺠RISUG was injected into the vas deferens of male Wistar albino rats and examined for 360 days. ⺠DMSO and NaHCO3 were used as reversal agents and examined for 90 days post-reversal. ⺠Both reversal methods (DMSO and NaHCO3) do not provide evidence of genotoxicity. ⺠Contraception with RISUG is highly unlikely to produce any genotoxicity in leukocytes and testis.
