Abstract
⺠After exposure to methylmercury, accumulation of mercuric ions is greater in TRâ than Wistar rats. ⺠The disposition of mercuric ions in adult TRâ and Wistar rats implicates Mrp2 in mercury transport. ⺠Fetal and placental burdens of mercury suggest a role for Mrp2 in the disposition of mercuric ions.
