Abstract
► A sensitive postlabelling assay for detection of the N1-adenine adduct of glycidamide was developed. ► The adduct could be easily detected in glycidamide-treated DNA and mammalian cells. ► The adduct could not be detected in liver DNA of acrylamide-treated mice.
