Abstract

The proposal of the nonlinear viscoelastic behaviour description of textile material is presented in this work. The considered fabric is made of two polyester thread families woven perpendicularly to each other with double side PVC coating. The long-term uniaxial creep laboratory tests in the threads direction were conducted at five different constant stress levels. For the fabric behaviour characterization the dense net model together with the Schapery one-integral viscoelastic constitutive model for threads were assumed. The least squares method in the Levenberg–Marquardt variant was used for the parameters identification. The identification results were verified by simulation of laboratory tests.
