Abstract
SummaryOrgan shortage is one of the most pressing issues concerning the field of transplantation. Non Heart Beating Donation (NHBD) has long been recognized as a potential tool to increase the size of the donor pool. In this study we have discussed the common issues, controversies and current trends relating to NHBD and possible solutions to establish a successful programme.
