Abstract
In this study, samples obtained from ground pumice aggregate (GPA) mixed with cement, gypsum and lime were produced by using a pressure forming (PF) processes and steam-curing. The compressive strength, density and water absorption properties of the samples were determined. Building materials produced from addition of low-rate cement, gypsum and lime to GPA using the pressure method had generally better physical and mechanical properties as compared to traditional building materials.
