Abstract
Medical staff accreditation is a procedure that consists of assessing physician's practice regarding developed and adapted strategies to handle potential risks. The overall goal of this project is to reduce the incidence and severity of adverse events related to health care by reporting and analysing high risk situations. The assessment and feedback of reports will elaborate the design of interventions needed to improve patient safety. Individual or general guidelines can thus be produced, leading to quality-improved intensive care unit practice.
