A new composition of slag Portland cement material has been developed. Its silicate matrix is filled with slag Portland cement and two types of secondary industrial by-products, which in fact play the role of artificial sand (acidic slag) and an active mineral admixture. The hysteresis loops method is used for the estimation of the thixotropic–coagulation break down and structural build up of different composite formulations high concentrated slag Portland cement suspensions by the investigation of the influence of important technological factors (active mineral admixture concentration in hard phase, hard phase concentration (magnitude of water/cement ratio) and duration of preliminary mixing). The reasons are analyzed for their difficult thixotropic behavior.
