Abstract
The volume of the affected limb decreased in all of the patients. The best results were obtained in the patient with mild lymphedema in whom a multilayer bandage was used, with a reduction edema volume of 80.2% and total elimination of symptoms. The compression method of treatment of lymphedema used could be applied based on its grade to optimize results. Clinical trials with an appropriate sample size comparing various types of bandage in the same type of patient with the same degree of lymphedema are needed.
