Abstract
This fact, together with the impossibility for the majority of the population (even for young and asymptomatic individuals) to perform correct perineal blockage, has led us to conclude that there is no reason to use the so extended practice of pelvic floor re-education as a priority treatment or exclusive one for muscular strength enhancement during the postpartum period.
