Abstract
SummaryPerformers have used many approaches to regulate arousal levels. Yoga claims to regulate arousal; however the claim has not been evaluated. This study investigated non-directive somatic arousal, utilizing heart-rate data, of trained and novice yoga practitioners before, during and following an auditory distraction in savasana. No difference was noted between trained and novice yoga practitioners.
