Abstract
In Germany 108 of 132 statutory health insurance companies refund osteopathic treatment pro rata. Although the prerequisites of this new benefit seem to be the same for most of these companies the overview chart clearly shows differences regarding the approval of healthcare providers, their professional associations as well as the total amount of the reimbursement.
