ZusammenfassungDieser Artikel gibt einen Überblick über A.T. Stills Ansatz zur Behandlung der Lungenentzündung. Vor diesem Hintergrund werden das Menschenbild Stills skizziert und seine Auffassung von Gesundheit und Krankheit sowie sein Interventionsverständnis erläutert. In der Diskussion wird die Übertragbarkeit seiner Behandlungsprotokolle in die heutige Zeit erörtert.

This article is based on a lecture which was held at the „Sommerakademie” at the Vienna School of Osteopathy 2012. It gives an overview about A.T. Stills approach of treating pneumonia. On this background his concept of the nature of human beings, his concepts about health and disease and his concept of intervention is described. It is discussed, how his treating approaches can be adopted today.
