Abstract

Our paper proposes to present the static heat balance of the human body and the sensitivity range of the comfort equation through average skin temperature and heat loss by sweating, based on Fanger's work. We will investigate which measurement methods he used to develop the two heat balance equations. In addition a comfort diagram will be used to illustrate its sensitivity at various thermal load levels.

► The fundamentals of the comfort equation by Fanger. ► Sensitivity range of the comfort equation using relative dispersion. ► More precise comfort dimensioning for lightly clothed humans.
