Abstract
There are many initial barriers preventing faculty new to simulation from welcoming or even tolerating simulation. One of the most significant barriers is fear of failure. A distance-based, video-supported orientation and initial course providing a defined low-risk environment supporting new-to-simulation faculty's gradual, self-determined engagement results in a cost-effective, enthusiastically accepted simulation experience.
