Abstract
The purpose of this article is to illustrate the integration of patient simulation into basic, intermediate, and advanced level nursing courses and to describe the process by which the simulation template was developed. The integration of patient simulation has allowed us to expose all students to a myriad of patient situations, as well as evaluate our students' cognitive, psychomotor, and affective abilities. The simulation template has made it possible for us to standardize the simulation experience, as it guides faculty in the development of each simulation scenario.
