Abstract
Health care delivery in the United States is a main concern for the current administration and health care professionals, employers, and consumers alike. As many struggle to find options to meet basic health care needs, convenient care clinics (CCCs) and the role of the nurse practitioner (NP) in them have become part of the overall healthcare solution. How CCCs continue to evolve, given the current and future economic, regulatory, and legislative environment, will demonstrate their long-term success and the ability for the industry to be viewed as a valuable solution to the current health care crisis.
